Made by you is built on a simple human truth – we all want to be our true, authentic self in this world. This is a global celebration of Converse Chuck Taylor All Star, the only sneaker defined by those who wear them.

Converse fans have been expressing themselves and their creativity in Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers for nearly 100 years. This installation celebrates Londoners’ expression of their sneakers and their stories. An original Made by you art installation.

Created by Damilola Odusote, a British born artist with Nigerian roots and based in London, his sculptures combine everyday objects with abstract techniques to challenge our perceptions.

In the spirit of his creative identity, Damilola has captured his own take on Sneaker Portraits – thousands of polaroids of Londoners wearing their Chucks and sharing their stories – assembling the images to create an ident art structure of London’s iconic outline.

Supported by students from Central Saint Martins, Damilola constructed this unique and striking installation by hand.

From the slightest mark to the most original personalisation, the impressions on each pair of Chucks hint at their unique story. The raw Sneaker Portraits gathered together in Damilola’s installation reveal and celebrate the self-expression of some of the city’s most diverse characters to create an artwork that is authentically Made by you.

The brand’s “Made By You” campaign spotlights lived-in Chucks from the famous and the ordinary. Across art installations in cities all over the world, Converse is showing how creative souls like Patti Smith, Andy Warhol and the musician next door customize their sneakers into well-worn, one-of-a-kind artworks — a practice that has become closely associated with the shoe as it approaches its centennial.

Here is Damilola`s visual expression on the chuck, that was a complete winner around London. is continuously  being updated if you have any questions please get in contact of use the live chat from Mon-Fri 9-5pm GMT
